Once your booking has been processed, you will receive access to the online course which provides many different resources to help you work through the syllabus.  You will also be sent the digital WSET studybook which accompanies the course.  You then work at your own pace, following the course modules and making use of the extensive practice questions in each module.

The WSET studybook and the online course provides you with all the information you need to study in order to pass the exam at the end of the course.  You will have full access to the materials for 12 months from the date you register.

For Levels 1 and 2, the examination will be completed online through a Remote Invigilation service – you will be given information on how this works once you have enrolled.

Results are usually issued via email 3-4 weeks after sitting the exam, with digital certificates following shortly afterwards.

No. Taking the exam is entirely up to you. There is no pressure to sit an exam.

No, you can go straight to WSET Level 2 if you can already name and distinguish the different types and styles of wines.
