Who is Samantha Alder?
Sam was born and raised in Kent, The Garden of England and now resides and runs her own Wine School in London. After studying WSET to Diploma Level, she quit her successful career in Finance, to help fellow wine lovers break down the enigma and stuffiness you often see in the world of wine. She has spent the last 10 years, tasting with, coaching and mentoring wine lovers to follow their passion. Red Grape Coaching was designed to help all WSET students with their revision, as she recognises not everyone learns the same way.
Along with being a WSET Diploma holder, Sam is also a qualified WSET Educator, nominated for Educator of the Year and holds the French Wine Scholar with Honours Award.
When Sam isn't working, she can be found walking with Harley the Ginger Poodle, or competing with him in agility, playing tennis, or pétanque. Her motto is quite simple: Life can be short and fragile: Be the best you can at whatever you do, every day.
